Thermal Driller – Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain drilling rigs and related equipment for geothermal/thermal wells.

Drill boreholes to specified depths for geothermal heating and cooling systems.

Conduct site preparation, including equipment setup, calibration, and inspection.

Monitor drilling parameters such as pressure, temperature, and penetration rate.

Install geothermal loops, casing, and piping systems in drilled boreholes.

Collect soil and rock samples and report geological conditions.

Skills & Qualifications

Valid driver’s license; CDL often preferred.
