The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of the Accounts Payable function while also providing general administrative and reception support. Key Responsibilities: * Process high volumes of supplier invoices and credits against purchase orders. * Investigate and resolve invoice and pricing discrepancies. * Process subcontractor payment certificates. * Accurately check, code and obtain approval for invoices in line with company procedures. * Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any related queries. * Prepare supplier and subcontractor payment runs, including BACS files. * Manage the accounts department mailbox and respond professionally to queries. * Answer and forward incoming calls in a helpful and professional manner. * Assist with period-end accounting tasks. * Provide general administrative support as needed across the business. * Maintain accurate departmental paperwork through scanning and filing. * Welcome and log visitors to the c...
