Our Public Sector client is looking to recruit a Senior Finance Officer on a Permanent basis.
Purpose of the role:
Senior Finance Officers provide high quality and comprehensive finance support across the Council, drawing on technical expertise, knowledge and experience to add value, lead on the resolution of challenges and drive process improvements across the area.
1. Responsible for leading on specific service menu items and delivering to a high standard the full menu of finance service activities for the assigned team, including but not limited to:reviewing and challenging budget decisions, corporate accounting and financial planning, supporting capital and project financial planning and providing financial activity support to services across the Council.
