Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2.30pm & 1.30pm-10pm (40 hrs)

HGV Mechanic / Technician / Fitter opportunity
We are currently seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic / Technician / Fitter to provide service, maintenance, and breakdown support for an internal fleet of commercial vehicles.
Potential flexibility with shifts to offer a permanent early or permanent late shift if preferred.

HGV Mechanic / Technician / Fitter Duties
* Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on heavy goods vehicles
* Trouble shoot breakdowns
* Prepare and present vehicles for annual MOT tests
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and body system issues
* Accurately record maintenance, repairs, and parts usage
HGV Mechanic / Technician / Fitter Experience Required
* Qualifications in vehicle maintenance or qualified by experience working on HGVs
* Strong technical and product knowledge
* Excellent diagnostic and computer skills
* Any knowledge/experience of refuse collection vehicles is desirable but not essential
