Job Opportunity As a Healthcare Assistant you will assess clients, develop a care plan that will work for them and then, with the support and guidance of the clinical team, provide the necessary treatment. We are here to support anyone who needs help with substance misuse, and you will be part of our clinical team delivering this important service. We work as one team across the service to ensure our clients get the best possible care, referring them on to other specialist teams where needed. As part of this Healthcare Assistant role, you will also help clients to take a holistic approach to their overall health and recovery journey by helping them to understand the importance of their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing too. You may also conduct health screening (Phlebotomy, BBV screening, core observations such as BP, Sats, Pulse, tools and compliance monitoring during treatment) to complement our approaches to holistic healthcare. There will be assessments to carry out and records you need to keep and update, that's all part of our professional commitment and service to our clients and commissioners. This role is part time working 30 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday 7.5 hours per day on site in Rotherham. Occasional evening and weekend working may also be required. The salary for the position is £27,000 - £30,093 per annum pro rata.
