Job Description
As Management Accountant, you will be involved in:
* Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
* Preparation of management accounts
* Supporting small transactional team
* Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
* Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
* Coordinate and complete annual audits.
* Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
* Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Preparation of monthly salaries and assisting with weekly payroll
* Stay updated with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
* Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
* Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* Accountancy Qualification or Qualified by Experience
* Sound knowledge of accounting software.
* Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
* Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
