Responsibilities
* Attend staff meetings.
* Care for residents like they are your own family, addressing physical, psychological and social needs.
* Assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.
* Be responsible for the medication round and lead the shift.
Experience and Qualifications
* Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or care certificate. However, training is provided, so these are desirable, not essential.
* Previous experience working in a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
* Experience of leading a team.
* A committed and organised approach.
* A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Flexible to work shifts.
Safeguarding and Training
Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs and demands of the home and participate in appropriate training. Encourage and support staff in their development and training. Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are understood and followed, including safeguarding and whistleblowing policies.
