About the role
We are looking for a UX Designer to join our growing global User Experience team and contribute as a key member of our product organization. You’ll be based in either our Manchester or York office and work with a high‑performing team that values quality, collaboration, and innovation.
Key responsibilities
* Design and deliver user‑centered solutions for a defined product area, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
* Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and fellow designers throughout the product development lifecycle.
* Participate in discovery activities including workshops, journey mapping, and usability testing.
* Produce flows, wireframes, interaction patterns, and high‑fidelity prototypes using Figma.
* Work with the Anaplan Design System to ensure consistency and contribute improvements.
* Use both qualitative and quantitative data to validate design decisions and iterate on experiences.
* Help simplify complexity for builders, admins, and business users alike by designing elegant interactions.
Qualifications
* Commercial and professional experience in UX or product design.
* A strong foundation in user‑centered design principles and design thinking methods.
* Experience designing for data‑rich, workflow‑heavy interfaces.
* Proficiency with Figma and working within design systems.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills; you can confidently present ideas and rationale.
* A systems‑thinking mindset and a drive to improve design quality through iteration and feedback.
Preferred skills
* Experience designing for admin, builder, or data modeling tools.
* Understanding of HTML/CSS and how design decisions impact implementation.
* Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design.
* Exposure to enterprise SaaS, financial systems, or planning software.
* Experience working with Agile teams.
