Audit & Training Manager Commercial (UK-Wide, Field-Based) Location: Field-based, with flexible office options (UK-wide) Department: Commercial Reports to: Senior Projects, Audit & Training Manager Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive benefits About the Role We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Audit & Training Manager to lead our Commercial Audit and Training function. This pivotal role supports the transformation of our commercial sales teams by embedding standardised processes, strengthening compliance, and driving a culture of high performance across the UK. You will lead a team of trainers and auditors, ensuring our sales teams are compliant, confident, and capable delivering measurable improvements in performance, customer experience, and operational excellence. This is a field-based role with national travel, offering flexibility on office location. What You ll Be Doing Leading and developing a high-performing team of trainers and auditors Overseeing the delivery of robust audit programmes across CRM, CODAS, 8x8, and more Driving continuous improvement in sales compliance and call quality Managing induction, refresher, and skills-gap training programmes across the commercial function Collaborating with sales leaders and regional stakeholders to drive best practices and sales growth Using data and audit insights to recommend and implement targeted interventions Supporting wider Commercial Transformation and standardisation initiatives Acting as a champion for compliance and our Doing the Right Thing culture What We re Looking For Experience & Skills Proven experience managing audit, training, or compliance functions within a commercial sales environment Strong background in coaching, performance improvement, and sales enablement Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence across multiple regions and teams Skilled in using systems like CRM platforms, 8x8, CODAS, and reporting dashboards (Power BI desirable) Demonstrable success in delivering performance improvement through data-led insights Commercial awareness, ideally within the fuel, energy, or renewables sector Personal Attributes Analytical thinker with a drive for continuous improvement Excellent communicator and team leader Strong decision-maker with a focus on compliance, quality, and operational effectiveness Adaptable, resilient, and motivated by delivering results through others Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Audit compliance rates and reduction in failures Training completion rates and alignment with skills gaps Measurable sales impact from audit/training interventions Positive feedback from commercial teams and stakeholders Increased efficiency through improved reporting tools Continuous improvement initiatives successfully implemented Why Join Us?
