Our client provides MAA Part 145 Aircraft support to the RAF A400M (Atlas) fleet. Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:
* General Responsibility: As an Aircraft Fitter you will be responsible for Maintenance, Repairs and Modifications to the aircraft. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Compliance with the organisational policies and procedures detailed in the MOE and supporting manuals
* Identifying and rectifying existing and potential unsafe conditions
* Maintaining the work environment in a clean and safe manner using a clean as you go approach
* Complying with company Safety Management System (SMS) occurrence reporting procedures
* Complying with the safety policy
* Complete aircraft paperwork to a high standard
* An awareness of COSHH, Working at height and Manual handling safety requirements
* Actively embrace a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture
Essential Job Function
* Responsible for the maintenance of the aircraft and safe use of ground equipment
* Can accurately navigate and interpret aircraft maintenance documentation.
* Carry out aircraft modifications and light structural work if required.
Candidate Essential Requirements
* Must hold a valid aircraft standards-based qualification (Apprenticeship/NVQ level 3) or aircraft related academic qualification/traineeship with a minimum 3 years recorded experience or be able to satisfy Training / Maintenance management team.
* Current Human factor initial and refresher, EWIS and SFAR 88 certificate
* Knowledge of aeronautical regulations
* Must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom
* Fluency in English, both written and verbal
* Be able to successful complete MOD security clearance
Desirable Criteria
* Experience on A400M, Propeller or Wide body Aircraft
* Previous exposure to and Amos
* Knowledge of Military Aviation Authority (MAA) MRP Part 145 regulations
* Have good communication skills, both verbally and written, and interpersonal skills
* A proven ability to work as part of a team
* Be able to work on their own initiative and demonstrate leadership skills
* Possess proficient organisational skills and an ability to work in an efficient manner
* IPAF/MEWP familiarisation
Typical Working Conditions
* Primarily based in Brize Norton however travel may be required
* Shift will be 5x5x4 - (Apply online only)
* PPE is provided and its use is mandatory in the performance of your work.

Contract and Hours
Duration: 1 year contract, rolling
Hours: 5x5x4 shift approx. 40 hours per week with potential overtime - 07.00 to 19.00
Pay: £30 ph umbrella and £23.24 PAYE
