We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, have experience in team management, and demonstrate positive communication abilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently while supporting the needs of

Duties

* Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a productive work environment.
* Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
* Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence management.
* Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to foster positive relationships.
* Work with the manager to organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required.
* Ensure proper phone etiquette is maintained when dealing with clients and visitors.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in an office management or similar administrative role.
* Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management.
* Familiarity with Zero or similar accounting software would be an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Additional information

* Wellington house and Longforth House are the names of the two homes that are on our site here at Wellington
* Both homes work with residents with a diagnosis of either Dementia or a Mental health need.
* You will be working with our Registered Manager and Deputy manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.50-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
