The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Domestic Assistant to join our team at Motherwell Health Centre.
The post holder will provide domestic services to patients, staff, and visitors of NHS Lanarkshire premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment that meets NHS Lanarkshire and Hospital Acquired Infections standards.

What you'll need to bring
* Knowledge of cleaning standards and procedures.
* Willingness to undertake on-the-job training and induction (generally 4-6 weeks).
* Knowledge of Health & Safety practices, including risk assessments.
* Mandatory NHS Lanarkshire training and HCSW standards.
* Completion of NHSS Domestic Services Workbook.
* Effective communication skills.
* Ability to work in a team and in a busy environment.
* Basic IT skills.
Note: A full UK/EU/EEA driving license is required where applicable.
Preferred qualifications include recognized SVQ or equivalent, experience in cleaning, and ability to operate electrical cleaning equipment.
Contract type: Permanent, Part-time (15.8 hours).
Location: PSSD Hotel Services, Motherwell Health Centre.
Working pattern: 16.45-20.00 Monday-Thursday & 16.30-19.17 Friday.
