What the job involves As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining public open spaces, verges, and planting areas to foster a green, sustainable environment. You will work both individually and in teams, carrying out various tasks such as grounds maintenance, litter picking, and responding to fly-tipping. The role may require working outside normal hours, especially during emergencies, and occasionally participating in waste loading operations. The job is based in Troy Depot with a flexible work pattern of 43 hours per week from March to October and 37 hours per week from November to March.
