You should have experience in club and volunteer development, knowledge of equality, diversity, and inclusion work, and a proven track record of evolving services to meet member needs. Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities are essential.
About The Role
The Head of Development and Participation is a key senior management role responsible for supporting club development, community impact programs, and our National Facilities Strategy. You will lead an experienced team and work closely with other departments and partners, including Scottish Action for Mental Health and Athletics Trust Scotland.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking sport, especially with the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games and upcoming projects in 2025.
Place of Work & Benefits
Hybrid working from our offices at Laurie Liddell Clubhouse, Peffermill Playing Fields, Edinburgh, and the Emirates Arena, Glasgow.
Salary: £45,000, with annual reviews. Benefits include enhanced statutory benefits, flexible working, additional leave after five years, death in service cover, and pension contributions.
Hours & Other Details
37 hours/week, with evening and weekend work required. Annual leave: 25 days (30 after five years) plus 10.5 public holidays. Travel within the UK will be reimbursed. A six-month probation applies, with three months' notice post-probation.
