Service Engineer – Electrical bias
Are you an experienced Service Engineer ready for your next challenge? A specialist engineering business, based on the outskirts of Warwick, is seeking a Service Engineer to take on a diverse role combining field service, machinery assembly, and hands-on problem-solving.
What the Service Engineer role involves:
* Carrying out service visits to customer sites across the UK
* Commissioning new products and performing installations and repairs
* Delivering training and handovers to customers
* Building, wiring, and testing electro-mechanical machinery in-house
* Designing electrical panels and integrating machine hardware
* Producing documentation, from electrical drawings to safety evaluations
* Supporting with component repair and internal technical meetings
What the ideal Service Engineer would have:
* Level 3 qualification in Electrotechnical Services – or equivalent
* 18th Edition Certification (BS 7671:2018)
* Understanding of Machinery Regulations & BS standards
* Hands-on mechanical skills
* Strong understanding of drives, control systems, and industrial equipment
* Preferably experience with PLC programming
