Children’s Residential Support Worker
Location: Cambridgeshire

Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Shift-based (including sleep-ins)

The Role
As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will:

Provide day-to-day care, support, and supervision to children and young people
*
Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
*
Support young people with routines, education, activities, and emotional wellbeing
*
Implement individual care plans and behaviour support strategies
*
Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and reviews
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
*
Has experience working with children or young people (residential care experience)
*
Is empathetic, patient, and emotionally resilient
*
Can remain calm and professional in challenging situations
*
Has strong communication and teamwork skills
*
Is flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
*
Holds a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Relevant CPD related qualifications
