The starting salary for this role is £33,552 per annum, working 36 hours per week. This is a 12-month secondment opportunity. Please discuss with your line manager before submitting your application.

Are you ready to join a team that ensures our Adults, Wellbeing and Health Partnerships (AWHP) directorate has the data and insight it needs to deliver safe, effective, and efficient services to Surrey residents? We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our reporting workstream within the AWHP Business Intelligence Team.

Our Offer to You

1. 26 days' holiday, rising to 28 days after 2 years' service and 31 days after 5 years' service
2. Option to buy up to 10 days of additional annual leave
3. A generous local government salary related pension
4. Up to 5 days of carer's leave and 2 paid volunteering days per year
5. Paternity, adoption and dependents leave
6. An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) to support health and wellbeing
7. Learning and development hub where you can access a wealth of resources
8. Wellbeing and lifestyle discounts including gym, travel, and shopping

About the Role

We're seeking a proactive and analytical individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about using data to drive change. You'll be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

This is an opportunity to develop your data analysis skills, report building/writing skills, and presentation skills in order to produce creative reports which support operational teams in Adults, Wellbeing, and Health Partnerships.

As a Data Analyst, you will:

10. Support the monthly production of the County Assurance Pack
11. Support the AWHP Directors and their teams, driving performance improvement by enabling teams with tailored reporting, Tableau access, and targeted training aligned to the performance management cycle
12. Support the planning and submission of the statutory reports, ensuring compliance and data integrity
13. Champion cross-functional collaboration, working closely with teams across AWHP and SCC

Your work will directly influence strategic decisions that enhance the quality of care provided. By analysing and presenting data on service performance, you will help identify areas for improvement, ensuring that care services are continuously optimised to meet the needs of our most vulnerable adults.

Your role will be crucial in providing actionable insights to social care teams, helping them to understand trends, measure outcomes, and implement best practices. By translating complex data into clear, impactful information, you will support frontline workers in delivering more effective and personalised care, ultimately improving the lives of our residents.

Through data analysis, you will help streamline operations and ensure that resources are allocated where they are needed most. Your efforts will lead to more efficient use of time and funds, which means more resources can be directed towards care activities. This results in better support for both care providers and recipients, making a tangible difference in the overall care experience.

About the Team

The Business Intelligence (BI) Team is a dynamic and forward-thinking group that delivers flexible, high-impact services across the Directorate. The BI Team is part of AWHP's Systems, Analytics and Service Improvement Service.

We support AWHP operational teams by providing high-quality data, insightful analysis, and strategic intelligence that informs improvement initiatives and service delivery.
