The GPS Marketing and Engagement team is crucial in growing Fidelity International's business, enhancing our brand, and shaping our reputation. We focus on creating world-class customer and client experiences alongside client-centric marketing programmes which support the revenue targets and sales strategies of our businesses and in turn build Fidelity's brand in the market. About your role As a Marketing Manager reporting to a Senior Marketing Manager (SMM) you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of marketing activity, engagement programmes and initiatives to help drive acquisition of new customers and share of wallet from existing customers. The Marketing Manager will play a key role in the success and performance of our Global Platform Solutions business so they will need to be self-sufficient, driven and highly organised to deliver in a fast-paced environment with an ability to multi-task across multiple channels/deliverables. We want to build lifetime relationships with our customers, positioning Fidelity as the trusted partner for the moments that matter. As such you will have the opportunity to engage with key areas of our business; Global Workplace Investing, Stock Plan Services, and our Personal Investing, Wealth, and Advice channels. At the core of the role lies a commitment to customer obsession. You will work on engagement plans that address the full customer lifecycle including activation of prospects, maximising in life growth opportunities and retaining our profitable customer segments. You will support your line manager in implementing a mixture of traditional campaigns alongside trigger-based strategies and next best actions across various both inbound and outbound channels. This role will predominately work to drive growth from our Stock Plan Services offering but the role will need to pivot to support the wider marketing team at times when large campaigns are running. Within this role you will also be required to support and deliver the marketing requirements to customers following any propositional changes. The Marketing Manager will be a well-rounded marketer, with experience in above-the-line and below-the-line marketing, as well as digital marketing. Working closely with the broader marketing team and colleagues, they will create and implement integrated, multi-channel marketing plans. They will be experienced in leading and taking full ownership of projects. Always focused on customer need and experience, they will be thorough and rigorous about understanding customer journeys, scrutinising content and communications, championing change where necessary. It will be important to track and measure results, to ensure that we optimise budget to maximum effect and deliver against our objectives. So you will be commercially focused, with an eye on return for marketing investment. You will be knowledgeable about investment products and services, and have a keen interest in financial wellness and how consumers can manage their personal finances to achieve goals. Key Responsibilities Use customer and market insight for a deep understanding of the target market to help create competitive and appealing campaign propositions. Create marketing campaigns and engagement programmes that are commercially driven, fit with the GPS marketing strategy and will help us achieve our business objectives. You will support the SMM on larger campaigns/initiatives, whilst have autonomy and responsibility for end-to-end delivery of smaller scale initiatives. Develop campaign briefs, with appropriate engagement with internal stakeholders and external agencies including: Fidelity's digital marketing team, web team, insight (content) team, customer services and external agencies/suppliers. Utilise the marketing mix for maximum impact and cut through which includes advertising, DM, digital marketing, email, product collateral and seamless online journeys. Ensure deliverables are high quality, bold and innovative - and delivered on time, on brand, on budget, meet the brief and are of consistently high quality. Build excellent working relationships with key stakeholders across the group and globally across our Stock Plan Services business, including those in more senior positions. Implement adequate tracking and measurement and report detailed campaign results, with learnings and recommendations for future campaigns. Deliver marketing that meets Fidelity's requirements for Consumer Duty and Vulnerable customers and ensure communications are clear, fair, and appropriate to the product/service, working with compliance and technical teams. About you A marketing manager with proven marketing and campaign management experience within the Investment industry. Stock Plan/Share scheme experience preferable but not essential. Detailed understanding of personal investing needs and solutions, products, and regulatory requirements. Understand multi-channel targeting and customer online and offline journeys. Can work collaboratively with good communications skills to forge effective relationships with key stakeholders across the GPS business and third party suppliers. Good project management skills. Ability to assimilate diverse information and distil it into key messages, prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, proofreading and editing skills, and attention to detail. Experience in managing effective customer engagement programmes and knowledge/experience of automated email platforms such as Marketo would be desirable.
