Job Description: Our client, a reputable law firm based in Sidcup, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant with at least 12 months of experience in conveyancing. This full-time, office-based role requires the successful candidate to work 5 days per week. Key Responsibilities: Assisting conveyancers in managing a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion. Drafting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence. Conducting searches and completing necessary documentation. Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other third parties. Maintaining and updating client files and records accurately. Providing administrative support to the conveyancing team, including diary management and scheduling appointments. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements. Requirements: Minimum 12 months of experience working in a conveyancing role. Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legal requirements. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
