Eaton Syalon are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a client in South Derbyshire on an initial 6-month contract basis. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with a strong background in end-to-end Credit Control, including experience managing major customer accounts.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining healthy cash flow and fostering positive relationships with our clients through effective debt management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactive debt collection via telephone and email
* Managing a ledger of major/key accounts and ensuring timely payments
* Allocating cash and reconciling accounts accurately
* Handling and resolving invoice and payment queries in a timely manner
* Maintaining accurate records of customer communications and payment arrangements
* Preparing reports on aged debt and providing updates to management
Person Profile:
* Proven experience in a Credit Control role – ideally in a fast-paced or high-volume environment
* Experience managing major/key accounts is highly desirable
* Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
* High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Professional, resilient, and customer-focused approach
The role is office based Monday - Friday initially. After successful on-boarding, you will be able to work one day from home. As the role is an initial 6-month contract, you will need to be available to start at short notice. For the successful candidate this role may become permanent following the initial contract period
