We are looking for a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist, working on a full-time basis at our busy Ware Hospital. As the face of our practice, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and supporting the smooth running of our practice. You will work closely with our dedicated vet and nursing teams to ensure the highest level of service for both clients and their pets.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and experience in customer service and administrative tasks. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and experience in customer service and administration.
Key responsibilities:
1. Greet clients and provide exceptional front-of-house service
2. Handle incoming telephone calls and respond to client queries
3. Process payments and manage insurance-related inquiries
4. Respond to client emails professionally and efficiently
5. Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting areas
Shift pattern:
Full-time, 40hrs/week position. This will be a mixture of early and late shifts Monday-Friday, and every other Saturday morning.
