Maths Tutor Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour Job Duties: Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in mathematics. Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to individual student needs. Assist students in understanding mathematical concepts and solving problems. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Provide feedback to students and parents on performance and areas for improvement. Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and teaching methods in mathematics education. Required Qualifications: A degree in Mathematics or a related field. Previous experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field. Experience: Prior experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics. Familiarity with various teaching methods and resources in mathematics education. Knowledge and Skills: Excellent knowledge of mathematical concepts and principles. Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs. Strong problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Mathematics or Education. Experience working with students of different ages and abilities. Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule. Work may involve evenings or weekends to accommodate student availability.
