Great opportunity to work as a Production Line Leader at our client's fruit and vegetable production site.
Staffline is recruiting Line Leaders to work in Peterborough.
The pay rate is:
* Nights - £ per hour
* Overtime (after 48 hours) - £ per hour
Shift details:
Nights, Monday to Thursday - 6pm to 6am
Please note that shifts may change to meet business needs.
Your Responsibilities:
* Lead, coach, and motivate the team to meet performance and quality standards.
* Ensure safety, hygiene, and customer specifications are followed.
* Manage daily operations and production schedules.
* Provide training and ensure adherence to procedures and policies.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and meet KPIs within budget.
* Develop Standard Operating Procedures for packaging.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
* Accurately record production data, waste, and returns.
Heavy lifting may be required.
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous supervisory or team management experience.
* Knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
* Experience in fresh produce, food production, or FMCG sectors.
* Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
* Reliable, positive, and solution-focused attitude.
* Experience with safety training, Rubicon ERP, lean manufacturing, and UK retail environments is advantageous.
* Flexible and willing to work in other areas or undergo training.
