Senior Transport Planner
Location: Bristol
Salary: £30,000 £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Role specifics: As a Senior Transport Planner, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering a wide range of development planning projects, including: Producing technical reports: Access Appraisals, Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and WCHAR/ATZ Assessments.
Undertaking junction capacity modelling and initial CAD work, including Swept Path Analysis.
Engaging with stakeholders, clients, and external project teams.
Representing the company at meetings, public consultations, and exhibitions.
Collaborating with team members across the consultancy.
Person specification:
We're looking for someone adaptable and proactive, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will bring: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in MS Excel.
Experience preparing high-quality technical documents and reports.
A logical, systematic approach to problem-solving.
High levels of organisation and time management, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
Qualifications & Experience: A degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Geography, Civil Engineering, Planning, Mathematics) is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Transport Planner.
Experience managing smaller-scale projects independently.
Familiarity with TRICS, TemPro, Junctions 9 (Arcady/Picady); experience with LinSig, GIS, Microsimulation, or CAD is a bonus.
Working towards TPS Professional Development Scheme (PDS) or similar is desirable.
Existing professional network or client contacts in the South West region would be advantageous.
