Non-Conformance Materials Engineer

Capgemini Engineering are looking to recruit Materials Engineers with knowledge of non-conformance within aerospace engineering.
An engineering activity that includes disposition and turnaround of non-conformance submissions.
Responsibilities
To provide technical and expert advice across Defence Aerospace programmes with a particular focus on design and supply chain production support
Responsibilities:
Support design of test programmes and analysis of test programme data
Investigate engineering development, production manufacturing and in-service issues using a structured analytical approach and presenting findings clearly and authoritatively
Participate in continuous improvement projects
Knowledge and Experience
A qualification in Materials Science or Engineering or significant relevant experience. We welcome applications from people with metallics and non-metallics backgrounds.
Good analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to build good working relationships across the business
Knowledge of the gas turbine and its components is desirable
Understanding of Engineering/Manufacturing drawings, terms, and processes
Excellent organisational, communication and people skills
Methodical and logical approach to tasks, comfortable with working to deadlines
You will be required to obtain BPSS clearance.
