Teacher Assistant- SEN Schools
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (39 weeks per year including INSET days)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Bucks Pay Range 4 — Actual salary £25,679 to £27,568 per annum (FTE £30,361 to £32,594)

We are looking to appoint Assistant Teachers to support our pupils with special educational needs at a SEN schools located in Aylesbury
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with experience in SEN who is seeking greater responsibility, or who wants to transition into a more rewarding and impactful role. You’ll be working alongside class teachers to support lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom management – and occasionally lead lessons in their absence.

About the Role
As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll:
Support with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons
Help implement education and personal care plans
Lead full class sessions in the teacher’s absence
Support pupils with personal care and administer medication when required
Work closely with families, external agencies, and a multidisciplinary team
Full training and CPD opportunities are provided through our in-house professional development programme.

Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or similar setting)
A confident communicator, able to work independently and with professionals
Comfortable using ICT to support learning
