Job Description
Clinical Responsibilities: Undertakes delegated personal care duties for patients/clients. To provide support for the Registered Nursing staff in maintaining a stable and safe clinical environment.
Person Specification
Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), Evidence of mandatory training and other relevant study days.
* Physical skills obtained through practice
* Demonstrate competence in nursing procedures that require basic understanding of Anatomy & Physiology
* Prioritise, plan own work
* Able to act on own initiative (in relation to delivering patient/client care)
* To be able to supervise less experienced staff
Desirable: Act as NVQ assessor, European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL).
* Previous relevant experience in dealing with the public
* Experience of working in an Emergency Department
Personal Attributes: Demonstrates a caring disposition.
