Job Introduction
We are seeking an inspiring and innovative HeadChef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences in line with Sodexo’s high standards. In this key role, you will take ownership of menu development, food quality, kitchen operations, and team leadership, ensuring every dish reflects our commitment to excellence. What you’ll do:
* Lead and manage the kitchen team, including two Food Service Assistants
* Plan menus and manage ordering processes via Drive
* Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality breakfasts and lunches
* Ensure full compliance with allergen management and calorie control requirements
* Oversee stock control, complete stock takes, and manage food costs and wastage
* Maintain HACCP records and complete all mandatory food safety documentation
* Support and deliver catering promotions and hospitality services
What you bring:
* Strong leadership and proven experience in effective kitchen management
* Excellent communication, organisation, and ability to perform under pressure
* Creativity and passion for delivering high-quality, innovative food
* Keen attention to detail with a strong commitment to standards and compliance
* Holds a Level 3 Food Safety qualification (or equivalent), with robust knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
