About the role
1. Key Responsibilities:
2. Maintenance and Upkeep: Clean, paint, and perform general maintenance on cabins and buildings as directed.
3. Servicing: Service mobile welfare units to ensure they're in top condition.
4. Repairs: Conduct site visits to carry out necessary repairs promptly.
5. Furniture Management: Check and store furniture returned to the yard, ensuring proper removal from cabins and storage.
6. Forklift Maintenance: Keep the forklift truck in excellent working order.
7. Efficiency: Minimise material wastage and assist with the safe loading and unloading of cabins, buildings, and materials.
8. Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised yard and workshop at all times.
9. Safety Compliance: Adhere to current health and safety legislation to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills and Experience
1. Technical Expertise: Experience in plumbing, joinery, or electrical work is highly beneficial.
2. Multitasking: Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload effectively.
