CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter / Operator
Location: Alexandria, Scotland
Pay: £19.50 per hour + regular overtime
Hours: 4-day week | Monday–Thursday | 07:30–17:30
The Role
We’re recruiting an experienced CNC Turner to join a growing precision engineering business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be expected to programme, set and operate CNC lathes independently using Fanuc controls.
This position suits a time-served CNC Machinist who is confident working on their own, enjoys variety, and wants a genuine opportunity to progress as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
* Programme, set and operate CNC turning lathes (Fanuc)
* Work independently from engineering drawings
* Machine small batch and bespoke components to tight tolerances
* Maintain high quality and accuracy across all CNC machining work
* Contribute positively within a small, experienced team
Essential Experience
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Machinist
* Confident programming at the machine, setting and operating
* Strong experience with Fanuc control systems
* Able to work unsupervised and manage your own workload
* Good drawing interpretation and attention to detail
