We are seeking a dedicated and passionatemunity Dietitian to join our team in Preston. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing dietetic assessment, treatment and advice to individuals with learning disabilities within themunity.
Your new role
Undertake a specified role in delivering the dietetic service provided to patients within themunity setting, working as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team. To work in conjunction with senior dietitians as a team member.
Key Responsibilities
1. To be professionally, ethically and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of the dietetic management of patients
2. To ensure a high standard of clinical care for patients under your management and support less experienced staff members
3. Provide individualized nutritional care plans for patients with learning disabilities.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible care for our patients.
5. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on dietary plans and food selection.
6. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Recognised nutrition and dietetics qualification Registered with the HCPC as a dietitian.
8. Experience of various clinical settings, clinics, wards, either in previous roles or during student placements
9. Able to prioritise workload & manage own time
10. Car driver with a full licence
