Role Overview : As a Business Development Representative, you will work remotely, supported by Sales Development Representatives, to drive sales growth and secure new business opportunities for 6Connex. Your target will be to bring in £1 million in extra business annually, and with no cap on your OTE, there is every incentive to achieve this This role requires a pure-play hunter with a talent for acquiring new business and the ability to start, nurture and grow your own sales book. Key Responsibilities : - Apply a hunter approach to business development, consistently seeking out and attracting new clients. - Deliver outstanding customer service and support to clients worldwide. - Utilise your expertise in SaaS and digital events to identify and engage potential clients. - Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively convey the value proposition of 6Connex products. - Conduct business development activities at the mid to enterprise level to secure new client accounts. - Ensure accurate data entry into CRM systems to track and manage sales activities. - Thrive in a work-from-home environment and demonstrate self-motivation. - Collaborate effectively with colleagues, displaying experience and familiarity with corporate culture. - Possess a genuine interest and passion for technology and its advancements. Qualifications and Skills : - Proven track record in a hunter approach to business development. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business development role in SaaS, preferably within the digital events industry. - At least 3 years of overall experience in business development (BDR). - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely. - Demonstrated experience in business development at the mid to enterprise level. - Proficiency in data entry onto CRM systems. - Experience working from home and possessing self-motivation and discipline. - A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and understands corporate culture. - A genuine interest and passion for technology and technical advancements.
