Location: Sutton
Duration: Ongoing
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Start Date: 22nd August 2024
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehab Assistant to join our team at Ranmore Ward, Dorking Hospital. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey, working closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to £17 per hour.
Main responsibilities of this Physiotherapy vacancy:
* Safely move and handle patients, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
* Conduct classes and teach exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
* Perform home visits to assess patient environments and provide necessary support.
* Supply small pieces of equipment to aid in patient rehabilitation.
* Work collaboratively with the MDT to support and progress patient rehabilitation plans.
Essential requirements of this Physiotherapy vacancy:
* HCPC registration
* Right to work in the UK
* Must be able to attend Dorking Hospital as required.
* Driving not essential, having a valid driver’s license and access to a car is preferable.
