Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time (Term Time Only) - Doncaster (DN9) - £100 per day - 7:45am - 3:45pm, Monday to Friday - Start Date: ASAP - Long-term contract NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Doncaster. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting a Year 5 pupil on a 1:1 basis with SEN and SEMH needs. This is a highly rewarding role for someone who is passionate about making a genuine difference in a child's education, confidence, and emotional development. You will provide tailored, consistent support to a pupil requiring additional help both academically and emotionally. The role also includes leading and supervising Breakfast Club each morning. - Monday to Friday - 7:45am - 3:45pm - Breakfast Club: 7:45am - 8:45am - Includes a 1-hour lunch break - Provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with SEN and SEMH needs - Support emotional regulation and promote positive behaviour strategies - Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver personalised support - Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs - Encourage social interaction and inclusion within the classroom - Supervise and engage pupils during Breakfast Club - Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and reports - Experience supporting children with SEN and/or SEMH (recent experience preferred) - Calm, patient, and nurturing approach - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff - Flexible, proactive, and reliable - Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 TA or equivalent) are desirable but not essential - Competitive daily rate of £100 - Supportive school environment - Opportunity to make a real, lasting impact - Long-term, stable position If you are available immediately and have recent experience working with children with additional needs, we would love to hear from you.
