Main duties of the job
Day-to-day responsibilities may include supporting your clients with CV writing and interview techniques, as well as speaking with potential employers on behalf of your clients. Our IPS team aims to increase the number of people moving into meaningful employment from our drug and alcohol support service.

Job responsibilities

About the Role
We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will work as part of the Individual Placement and Support Employment Specialist team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference. No two days are the same, and we treat every person as an individual, so being flexible, curious, and a good listener are key. You will be required to cover the West Cornwall area to meet clients in the community; therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to a car are required.

Qualifications
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car
Experience
* Experience in recruitment processes and employability skills development
* Experience helping people facing severe labour market disadvantages
* Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders, including employers and partner agencies
* Experience of multi-agency partnership working
* Knowledge of best practices in addiction and employment services
* Understanding issues faced by people in treatment or recovery in the job market
* Knowledge of a broad range of occupations
* Leadership and motivation skills
* Strong IT skills, ideally in Google Workspace
* Excellent organization and time management skills
* Flexibility to work in different locations and hours
