Are you a Field Service Engineer with experience in heavy plant machinery wanting to join one of the UK's leading recycling companies, specialising in renewables?

Presenting itself is the opportunity to join a highly respected company, valued for their service and workmanship, providing clients with a complete solution for end-of-life lithium batteries from start to finish - allowing you to be present for the extremely interesting battery life cycle.
In this role, you will conduct on site planned and reactive maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of battery related equipment while providing technical support during off-site operations and participate in project-based work, offering problem-solving skills to enhance or develop equipment and processes.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the engineering industry, specifically previous work experience with heavy plant machinery. You will also have a passion to work competitively, working both autonomously and as part of a team. You will also have a full valid UK Driving License.
The role:
* Maximising battery efficiency by conducting on-site visits for maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of battery related equipment.
* Perform battery disassembly, sorting and processing, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
* Train and mentor technicians and operators in equipment use and safety protocols.
* Maintain records of work performed such as equipment logs, maintenance schedules and inventory management.
The person:
* Background in the engineering industry.
* Previous work experience with heavy plant machinery.
* Desire to train and learn further in this industry.
