Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid background in office administration. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities and providing essential support to various departments. The Administrator will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, maintaining records, and facilitating communication within the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow
* Handle phone calls and correspondence with professionalism and courtesy
* Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in both digital and physical formats
* Utilise Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations
* Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks as needed
* Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required
* Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring easy retrieval of information
* Support team members with clerical tasks to enhance productivity
Experience
* Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
* Demonstrated organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Experience with QuickBooks is advantageous but not mandatory
* A background in clerical work will be beneficial
