Very excitingly, from September 2026, WMG Academy Trust will welcome its first cohort of Year 9 students. This marks a significant milestone in our journey and enables us to further shape and strengthen our UTC curriculum, reinforcing our business-like, business-led ethos from an even earlier stage.
WMG Academy is a thriving and welcoming establishment for aspiring young Engineers. With a strong emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), we offer a distinctive curriculum that includes GCSEs (including core subjects), A Levels, vocational and technical qualifications, or a combined approach.

We’re Looking For A Very Special Cover Supervisor
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Senior Cover Supervisor to join our thriving Coventry Academy during an exciting period of expansion. In this vital role, you will go beyond traditional supervision by managing whole-class environments for students from Year 9 through to Post-16, ensuring a purposeful and orderly atmosphere during short-term teacher absences. When not in the classroom, you will act as a key mentor and intervention lead, running small-group sessions to help our aspiring engineers overcome barriers to learning and reach their full academic potential. This is a unique opportunity for a professional with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to inclusive education to help shape the future of STEM and Digital education in a business-led environment that mirrors the modern workplace.
You Will Have:
1. 5 A*- C (or 9-4) grades at GCSE including English and Maths
2. Evidence of continuous professional development.
3. Experience of / working knowledge of supporting learners with individual needs to promote inclusion and independence
4. The ability to maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
5. The ability to manage whole classes effectively during short-term teacher absences, maintaining a purposeful and orderly environment
