This is a senior, highly visible leadership position with responsibility for ensuring high-quality, inclusive Post-16 education for young people with SEND.You will provide both strategic and operational leadership across the college's programmes, ensuring strong student outcomes, consistency of delivery and full compliance with DfE funding rules, Ofsted requirements and SEND legislation.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic leadership of Post-16 study programmes across two campusesOversight of curriculum intent, teaching, learning, assessment and outcomesUse of data to monitor performance, attendance, progress and KPIsDesignated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for campus and Deputy DSL for the collegeLeadership of SEND provision, EHCP processes and statutory Annual ReviewsLine management, coaching and development of campus-based teamsEmployer, cultural and creative industry partnership developmentOversight of Supported Internships and meaningful work placementsOperational and financial oversight at campus level, ensuring value for moneyEnsuring a high-quality, aspirational and inclusive student experienceAbout YouYou will be an experienced education leader with a strong SEND background and the confidence to lead across multiple sites.Essential:Experience working with SEND learners and EHCPs in Post-16 or specialist educationExperience leading or managing educational teamsStrong understanding of the Ofsted Inspection FrameworkKnowledge of DfE 16-19 Study Programme requirementsExcellent leadership, communication and organisational skillsAbility and willingness to travel regularly between campusesLevel 2 Maths and English (or equivalent)Enhanced DBS (child workforce)All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years' referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed.
