As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our brand-new Options Autism school – Meadows View School.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll support our Teachers to take a creative and flexible approach to teaching, helping pupils to achieve their educational goals and develop their confidence.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you’re looking to build a career in education and want to inspire learning in pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be both challenging and rewarding, and you’ll play an important role in creating a school environment where pupils are listened to, respected, and actively involved in decisions about their learning.

Day to day, you’ll:

1. Work with individual pupils and small groups to promote interaction and learning.
2. Prepare classrooms and materials to support engaging lessons.
3. Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
4. Support Teachers in planning and delivering creative and meaningful lessons.
5. Help ensure a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

6. Caring and resilient, with the motivation to make a difference.
7. Engaging and calm, able to support children with autism and complex needs.
8. A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
9. Educated to GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).

Previous experience in an SEN/ASC environment is desirable, but not essential – excellent support skills, the right attitude, and a genuine passion for helping children are what matter most.

About us

Meadows View School is a brand-new specialist school in Lincolnshire, part of Options Autism. Based in Stamford, our school supports up to 25 pupils aged 4–11 with autism, complex communication needs, and associated learning needs.

For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group, we are leading our sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care.

We reserve the right to close the vacancy early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications.

*You’ll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, giving you more time to do the things that make you happy. 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit
