Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Major Healthcare Project
Salary: £65K - £75K - Depending on candidate experience.
Location: Worthing
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Cost Advisor to support a major new cancer centre development. This role will initially focus on the bid phase, moving into delivery and cost management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as Senior Cost Advisor on behalf of the client during bid development and throughout delivery.
2. Provide expert advice under NEC3 / NEC4 contracts, ensuring cost compliance and risk management.
3. Lead on cost planning, estimating, and financial performance monitoring.
4. Undertake detailed cost checking, benchmarking, and validation of contractor proposals.
5. Attend weekly site meetings in Worthing (2 days per week) to review progress, programme, and commercial matters.
6. Attend London office (2 days per week) for team collaboration, reporting, and bid development.
7. Prepare and manage cost reports, forecasts, and commercial assessments.
8. Support value engineering and cost optimisation during all stages.
9. Work closely with the client, contractor, design teams, and wider project stakeholders.
