Job Description:
The CRISS Service in Leeds and York NHS Partnership Foundation Trust provides 24/7 urgent assessment and intensive home treatment to service users experiencing a mental health crisis. Following a recent restructure, the successful candidate will be involved in mobilizing this new service model, supporting staff through the changes.
We seek a highly motivated, experienced, and dynamic individual from any professional background with relevant experience, capable of providing clear leadership to a multidisciplinary team including nurses, occupational therapists, and health support workers. The candidate should be committed to delivering high-quality, user-focused care.
Main Duties:
1. Provide management support and guidance to the team, leading on specific service developments.
2. Support operational leadership and ensure the service functions safely, including covering other Band 7 roles during absences.
3. Lead clinical governance and service improvement initiatives within an evolving environment.
4. Maintain effective communication and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Detailed Job Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate a broad range of administrative, clinical, managerial, and leadership skills.
* Establish effective partnerships within multidisciplinary teams for integrated service delivery.
* Maintain up-to-date training relevant to acute/CRISS practice and current issues.
* Provide expertise, advice, and leadership, role modeling best practices.
* Make effective decisions in distressing and emotional situations.
* Ensure services meet local, directorate, and national targets and standards, with ongoing review and improvement.
* Operate within Trust policies and professional codes of conduct.
* Assist in financial management and act as signatory for team budgets.
Person Specification:
* Recognized professional qualification (e.g., Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Therapy) with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
* Experience as a manager in an acute setting and in leading teams or projects.
* Experience in managing sensitive incidents, investigations, complaints, and disciplinary issues.
* Understanding of and commitment to CRISS service roles and quality care.
* Ability to organize, chair, and facilitate meetings at various levels.
