Job Description:

We are now looking for a Service Technician to join us and provide a first-class service to customers within the Leicester area.
Your Role:
As a Service Technician, you’ll deliver effective and timely maintenance services to customers.
After training, you will undertake planned preventative maintenance, repairs, field modifications, and support at the delivery stage for customers who have purchased a Medstrom product.
Dealing with customers across Leicester, you will:
* Deliver clean, ready-to-use products to and around customer sites
* Collect products after use and return them for decontamination
* Disinfect, check functionality, repair, and perform electrical safety tests on products
* Complete records of testing, delivery, and collection
* Maintain available product stock and spare parts inventory
* Complete product modifications when required
* Provide product demonstrations and basic staff training
* Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
This role is ideal for a confident driver with a strong customer focus seeking a rewarding career with a growing business.
As part of your role, you will participate in an on-call rota once fully trained (with additional pay).
Working hours are 37.5 per week, on a Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday shift.
Experience Needed:
To join us as a Service Technician, you should have or be willing to develop:
* A mechanical or electrical background is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
* Experience in a healthcare setting is desirable
* A full UK driving license is required (training and support will be provided for confidence in maneuvering long wheelbase vans)
* Knowledge of Medstrom or other medical device products is desirable but not essential
Personal Requirements:
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to work independently and follow procedures to meet deadlines
* Basic understanding of hygiene, health, and safety rules
* Basic PC skills including email and MS Office
* A DBS check (or willingness to complete one)
