About the role
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Gardener to join the established but growing estate team. The role involves working on the Norfolk estate gardens and occasional travel (1–2 days per month on a rota) to assist at the family’s London residence. Working hours are Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), with occasional weekend work on a rota, compensated with Time Off in Lieu.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Care for and maintain a wide range of plants, flowers, and landscapes, ensuring their health and vibrancy.
* Work collaboratively with the estate team to deliver high-quality garden projects. Plan, plant, and maintain seasonal flowers and garden beds, bringing creativity and flair to the role.
* Monitor and control pests and diseases, using sustainable methods wherever possible.
About You
The successful Gardener will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a private estate or large garden, and will demonstrate a genuine passion for horticulture. You’ll have a strong work ethic, be adaptable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within the estate team. A clean driving licence is essential, and you must be over 25 years of age (for insurance purposes) to drive estate vehicles.
