Amro Data Labs is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amro Partners which is a real estate investor, developer and operator based in London. We are an established developer of multi-dwelling apartment buildings and purpose-built student accommodation in UK & Europe. At Amro Data Labs we are building a data layer and an end-to-end tech solution that enables us to deliver Net Zero Carbon at speed and at scale.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Python Data Engineer, who is keen on joining a small and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in Python programming and experience working withcloud technologies. The Python Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient and reliable data pipelines, as well as working with large datasets and ensuring the integrity and quality of our data.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines using Python and cloud platform
* Work with large datasets to extract, transform, and load data into various systems
* Ensure the integrity and quality of data through thorough testing and validation
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision making
* Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in data engineering
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years’ of work experience with Python programming andcommercial cloud – GCP, Azure in a start-up or a scale-up
* Working knowledge of SQL, Linux, and Git
* Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines
* Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Skills:
* Commercial experience with GCP
* Familiarity with machine learning and/or data science concepts
* Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
* A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Place of Work is Hybrid : 3 days minimum at our London HQ and 2 days remote
Remuneration Package: starting at £48,000 per annum, subject to experience and qualifications
