You will join our leading M&A Advisory team in Ireland, a high-performing group specialising in domestic and international M&A transactions with a strong focus on private equity. Supported by Deloitte’s global financial advisory network, our team provides clients access to global buyer markets and acquisition targets. What is the primary challenge and importance of this role? This role is pivotal in advising clients on complex M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side deals, often involving private equity. You will manage transactions end-to-end, providing expert financial advisory services that influence critical business decisions and drive successful outcomes in a competitive market. What key motivators does this role offer? You will work within the leading M&A deal team in Ireland, gaining exposure to a broad range of industries and complex cross-border transactions. What are the main duties or responsibilities? Advise clients on M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side deals, with a focus on private equity transactions Provide expertise on the financial elements of sale and purchase agreements and other specialist areas Manage transactions from initiation through to completion, ensuring effective project management and client communication Deliver financial modelling and valuation analysis to support transaction decision-making. Identify and lead business development opportunities, building trusted relationships with clients Mentor and coach junior team members to support their professional growth Collaborate with Deloitte’s global network to provide comprehensive advisory services throughout the transaction life-cycle Keep up-to-date with market trends and regulatory developments to provide informed advice Who is the hiring manager and what is their leadership style? You will report to one of the Directors in M&A Advisory. They have extensive experience in M&A and private equity transactions and are known for a collaborative, empowering leadership style.
