Financial Accountant - Must be Level 4 AAT Qualified and above
£40,000 - £50,000 p.a
A growing and evolving business is investing heavily in strengthening its finance capability and is looking to hire an ambitious finance professional to support the transformation of its Financial Control function.

Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the month-end close process
* Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
* Balance sheet ownership and control
* Assisting with audits and maintaining strong financial controls
* VAT returns and wider tax support
* Supporting ongoing finance transformation projects
* Working closely with stakeholders across finance
What they’re looking for:
✅ AAT Qualified or ACA/ACCA studier
✅ Minimum 3 years’ experience within financial accounting/financial control
✅ Strong month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation experience
✅ Previous exposure to audit processes
✅ Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
✅ A proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and controls
