What You\'ll Be Doing
As a Business Development Manager at Guardian, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth. Your entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude will be vital for building strong stakeholder relationships as you work with a network of medium and large partners, attending both virtual and in-person events and meetings to cultivate relationships with paraplanners, administrators and advisers. You will promote Guardian\'s brand, values and products by giving engaging presentations to enhance awareness, interest and business opportunities within the Life and Health Protection insurance industry.
Brief Overview of the Role
In this role, you will drive new and incremental premium income to Guardian by attending adviser meetings both virtually and in person. Your focus will be on business development and commercial activities, including high-volume outbound calls and client meetings to meet sales targets, and collaborating with colleagues across all Guardian departments to enhance customer experiences and the continual development of the Guardian brand.
You will also work with our Sales Management, Risk, and Compliance teams to manage, identify, mitigate, and document distribution risks and ensure actions align with Guardian\'s processes and procedures. Using your knowledge of Guardian products and the protection market, you will monitor trends, threats, and opportunities within the wider Life and Health Protection insurance industry to support Guardian\'s proposition development and market positioning.
