CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Corporate Security Officer who will be an ambassador to represent CIS Security who will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users. This site is base in the City of London in the financial district.Information Position: Security OfficerLocation: London (EC4M)Pay Rate: £14.90 per hourHours: Average 56 hours per weekShifts: 3 Days, 3 Nights, 3 off - Days & Nights Job Role / Requirements:SIA Licence requiredSecurity Experience is required - Corporate sector is idealTo be readily available to cover shifts when neededReliable, Responsible and PunctualTo have a smart appearance befitting the companyExcellent communication both written & verbal and IT skillsExcellent levels of customer service at all timesAble to work in a team as well as on your ownPhysically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk for extended periods when askedFlexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.First Aid would be desirable Responsibilities:Be confident operating the fire alarm system and taking full responsibility and leading on related incidents.Ensure all staff know and understand the fire evacuation policies and procedures.Pass any telephone enquiries or message to the relevant people or department.Book on all members of the security team correctly at start of each shift.Physically check SIA licences & Ultimate IDs’ of all oncoming team members.To manage the day-to-day operation of all shift staff reporting to them.Assist the Security Manager in ensuring manning is always at required levels, with regular shift patterns worked by trained and qualified staff.Help raise the profile of security and fire prevention ensuring that customers are well informed always of procedures and processes.Ensure that all incidents are managed and responded to in accordance with policies and procedures as appropriate to the rank of Shift Supervisor.Ensure that all incidents are managed as directed by the Security Manager and in accordance with policy and procedures.Display SIA licence always whilst on duty.Be aware of policies and procedures owned and changed from time to timeLiaise with the Security Manager daily and ensure that tasks are completed as agreed between both parties.Leading and building excellent relations with all service partners building on the clients ‘One Team’ ethos.Work collaboratively on all assignments across the portfolio sharing best practice., active involvement in portfolio meetings.Benefits:Health care plan (HSF)Perk Box (HSF) - discounts & offers from cinema tickets to days outCycle to work schemeTailed Site UniformFirst class training allowing you to develop your skillsA view for career developmentLong service & Employee Recognition awardsCIS Security has been providing manned guarding services since 1972 and has developed into one of the most effective and reliable security companies in England.
