The Financial Risk Management team provides independent advice to senior management and the Board, supporting oversight of market, credit, liquidity risks, and investment strategies across our group. Our team is fast-growing and dynamic, encouraging continuous development and excellence.
What You Will Do
* Lead a team responsible for quarterly reporting to committees and regulatory bodies, including analytical support for financial risk measurement and business strategies.
* Review and streamline credit, market, and liquidity risk reports.
* Apply analytics to generate insights on financial risks and global capital markets to inform investment and risk strategies.
* Prepare and communicate executive and Board-level materials, translating technical concepts effectively.
* Coordinate with cross-functional areas to ensure timely, high-quality preparation of materials.
* Prepare for regulatory meetings, attend, and follow up on actions.
* Evaluate hedging strategies and monitor hedging for our products.
* Lead initiatives on emerging risks, acquisitions, and regulatory changes.
* Monitor business activities and external developments affecting the risk profile.
* Build internal strategies for risk measurement and management, challenging and improving existing practices.
* Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders globally.
What You Will Bring
* Qualified Actuary or relevant professional qualification.
* Knowledge of life insurance products, liability modeling, ALM, IFRS 17.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Effective team participation across regions.
* Proactive, self-directed, capable of managing multiple tasks.
* Experience coaching and managing projects to deadlines.
* Ability to present complex concepts clearly.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of market, liquidity, credit risk, investments, LICAT, and ORSA is a plus.
